Over the Last 3 years, the EU has fined Google 9.4 BILLION dollars for

what they see as various antitrust no-nos.... will Google ever actually pay that? How does the EU have authority to fine them? I guess they could try and kick Google out of the EU Internet somehow... can they?

Is it just an attempted money grab? Because I don't recall reading about the same problems in other trade regions... Isn't the EU free to make their own search engine or internet super-company?

What say you, who know more about it?
